When she accepted the invitation to become the Republican nominee for Vice President, I wonder if Palin imagined that things would be this bad. She has become the fastest star turned flop in recent history.
And, on a day when she should have been making rounds discussing her soul mates debate, she was in Philly. Here is what happened.

She did not even stay long enough to see the debate.
Palin left before the debate began, and didn't say where she planned to watch it.

Blocked off from the pub by police tape, hundreds of Philadelphians held signs and chanted phrases like, "Sarah Go Home," "Obama" and "Duck, duck, moose." Among the protestors were Temple students from progressive organizations Temple College Democrats, Campus Greens, Common Ground and the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance.
"I fundamentally disagree with her on many issues," said Elizabeth Hanson, junior political science major and president of Temple College Democrats. "It’s important that as leaders and members of progressive campus organizations, we come out on a Friday night to show how strong our beliefs are."

Some set off flares.
They held up signs: "McSame/Failin';" "Hey Hockey Mom -- keep the puck out of PA;" "Just like Bush in lipstick."

Others are planning additional protests as we speak.
It looks like there is going to be a Texas-sized crowd gathered outside the Fairmont Hotel to greet Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Friday, Oct. 3. But it isn’t likely to be a friendly welcome

The protest will begin about 11 a.m. on the sidewalk across the street from the Fairmont Hotel, 1717 N. Akard St. in downtown Dallas. Meifert said she wants protesters to be there when people start arriving to attend the V.I.P. reception with Palin that starts at 11:30 a.m.

Sarah just tell McCain, thanks but no thanks. It does not have to turn out this way.
